Adult and Pediatric Hearing Evaluations
Audiometric evaluations are offered Monday through Friday by appointment. The hearing test will be performed using state of the art equipment in a large sized test chamber. These results will indicate if there is a hearing loss present. We will also discuss the degree (or amount) as well as type of hearing loss. Lastly, it will be determined whether or not a hearing aid is necessary. All new patients visiting our office for the first time will also have complete medical evaluation by an Ears, Nose, Throat (ENT) physician immediately preceding the hearing evaluation in the same office.
Hearing Aid Evaluations
At the hearing aid evaluation, you and your audiologist will determine which type of hearing aid is best for you and your unique needs. This includies the style, circuit, and number of hearing aids necessary. This choice should reflect your preferences, budget, life style and activity level. In addition, any medical conditions, physical characteristics, limitations, cosmetic preference, and financial expectations will be reviewed. All of our hearing aids, even the most basic technology, will in some form or manner help manage background noise. They range in cost from $ 1,275 to $3,500 per ear.
